Xi “Jake” Wang

Xi “Jake” Wang is a Los Angeles-based filmmaker, production leader, and AI artist whose work spans film, animation, visual effects, and emerging media. A member of the Visual Effects Society (VES), his practice focuses on cinematic storytelling and world-building, bridging traditional filmmaking with emerging AI-driven production.

Wang is currently a VFX GenAI Specialist at Amazon MGM Studios and previously served as Head of Production at Utopai Studios. Earlier in his career, he worked at Digital Domain, contributing to projects including Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Dune: Part Two, The Last of Us, and The Electric State. He holds creative partnerships with Runway, Dreamina, and CapCut, and his independent work has been presented at SIGGRAPH and international film festivals.
