Graphic, Illustration, and Product accept professional work. Experimental is open to all ages and backgrounds for design research, visual observations, everyday discoveries, and creative experiments; no traditional design outcome is required.

Credits must be accurate and complete.

Entrants keep ownership. By submitting, the entrant represents that all necessary client, employer, collaborator, image, likeness, and other permissions have already been obtained. The entrant remains responsible for claims arising from missing or inaccurate authorization and grants Monoline the publication and administration permissions stated in the accepted Submission Terms. Project images, names, credits and design statements may be published progressively on official Monoline platforms within those permissions. Separate agreement will be sought for new interview recordings, portraits or uses beyond the permissions already granted; additional guardian permission will be obtained where required. This notice does not expand previously accepted permissions.

AI-generated and AI-assisted work is permitted. Entrants must declare whether material AI-generated or AI-assisted content was used; no tool list or process explanation is required. The declaration is an administrative disclosure, not a warranty by Monoline. Entrants remain responsible for the submitted materials and any third-party rights claim, and Monoline does not assume that liability.

A paid entry is final and non-refundable once payment is completed, except for a verified duplicate charge for the same entry. Abandoning, withdrawing, editing, disqualifying, or not receiving recognition does not create a right to a refund, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. Optional exhibition participation requires a separate agreement and may include costs for commissioned external media coverage of the exhibition. Scope, itemised charges, applicable taxes and cancellation or refund terms will be provided before acceptance or payment; the entry-fee refund policy does not automatically apply. Declining participation does not affect judging, award status or the official award record. Monoline website interviews are separate and free of charge. This notice does not impose new charges on an existing entry.

Monoline may make a reasonable case-by-case adjustment when a documented service failure materially prevents submission near a deadline. An adjustment is not automatic and may depend on system records, payment records, timing, and the circumstances of the incident.

Monoline may reasonably modify dates, procedures, jury assignments, categories, benefits, or other programme details, or postpone or cancel the programme, when operational, legal, security, force-majeure, or fairness considerations require it. Material changes will be communicated through the website or directly to affected entrants.

Monoline may reject, remove, disqualify, correct, or revoke recognition for infringement, plagiarism, false credits, undisclosed material AI use, missing authorization, manipulation, conflicts, unlawful content, breach of the Rules or Submission Terms, or conduct that materially compromises the integrity of the programme.

A rights holder may contact Monoline with identification, contact details, the work concerned, the right claimed, supporting evidence, and a good-faith statement. Monoline may temporarily restrict material while reviewing a complaint and may request a response or evidence from the entrant.

Jury decisions are final as matters of creative judgment. Entrants may report a factual or administrative error, eligibility issue, conflict of interest, or rights concern. Monoline may correct published information or reconsider an award where a documented procedural or integrity issue is confirmed.

Questions about these Rules and Terms may be submitted through the Contact page. Include enough information for Monoline to identify the entry or issue concerned, but do not send passwords or payment-card details.

These Rules are governed by the law applicable to the Monoline programme operator, without overriding mandatory consumer protections. Disputes that cannot be resolved in good faith will be submitted to a court with competent jurisdiction. The operator identity and specific local jurisdiction will be stated in the formal legal terms once confirmed.
